The MOD Has Confirmed The Deaths Of Three Soldiers From The Parachute Regiment In Afghanistan.
They were killed on Thursday afternoon in an explosion which happened whilst they were travelling in a Jackal vehicle which was taking part in a routine security patrol alongside Afghan National Security Forces to the north of Lashkar Gah.
It's believed the three soldiers were killed in the initial blast, a fourth member of the patrol remains in a critical condition.
The families of the soldiers have been informed.
