A British Army Medic Is Awarded The Nursing Equivalent Of The Victoria Cross

Captain Gary King from the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps received the Associate Royal Red Cross from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace. The medal recognises his nursing work during a five-month deployment to Iraq in 2007

Service Justice System and Military Corrective Training Centre DVD Productions Win At The International Visual Communications Association Awards

The DVDs won a Bronze Award for 'Regular Communication' and a Highly Commended in the 'Best Script' categories, seeing off competition from over 640 other entrants

Jim Davidson Raises Money For An Army Museum

UK comedian Jim Davidson has announced that he's added a date to his current UK tour, to raise money for the British Army - he'll be performing at Salisbury City Hall on the 15th of April, and the proceeds from the gig will be donated to The Museum Of Army Flying at Middle Wallop
