The British soldier who died in Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham on Wednesday January 16 2013 has been named.
Kingsman David Robert Shaw from 1st Battalion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment sustained a gunshot wound when his checkpoint came under attack from insurgents in the Laskar Gah District of Helmand Province on January 14th 2013.
