An MP whose constituency includes one of the UK's Garrisons has voiced his concerns over the cut to MOD Police.
Sir Bob Russell said at defence questions in Parliament this week that Colchester garrison and in time garrisons in general would be seriously affected by the demise of the service.

There's been another accident during the Dakar Rally for the Race2Recovery Team who are raising funds for Help For Heroes.
A third Wildcat vehicle has had to retire from the competition as a result of an in-race accident. The driver and co-driver sustained injuries but both have now recovered and have been discharged from Hospital.

Two UK Defence ministers have been visiting British Service personnel on operations.
Minister of State for the Armed Forces, Andrew Robathan, and Minister for Defence Equipment,Support and Technology, Philip Dunne, visited soldiers in Afghanistan and the Middle East to witness first-hand the progress being made in mentoring Afghan forces.
