The Ministry Of Defence has held its first innovative 'Science On Show' event in London.
The aim of the initiative was to give small British businesses the chance to pitch their ideas to some of the world's biggest Defence companies.
British Army staff have been given a longer festive holiday this year as a thank you for their hard work.
Personnel will now get 25 days leave over Christmas for the work they did at the 2012 London Olympics and the Queen's Jubilee celebrations. The break will take place between December 14th and January 7th 2013.
