The Prime Minister Says That Despite The Attack That Killed 2 Soldiers In Northern Ireland, The People Of The UK Must Continue To Recognise And Support The Work Of The Armed Forces

The Prime Minister has paid tribute to Sappers Azimkar and Quinsey, both from 25 Field Squadron, 38 Engineer Regiment, who were killed in an attack at Massareene Barracks in Antrim on Saturday

The MOD Announces, That For The First Time Ever, 3 Soldiers From The Same Regiment Have Been Awarded The Conspicuous Gallantry Cross

The soldiers, all from The Royal Irish Regiment were recognised in the latest Operational Honours List for their bravery against the enemy in Afghanistan

No Smoking Day

It's been the National UK and Military No Smoking Day and British soldiers around the world have been trying to give up cigarettes for good - some will have managed it, others will no doubt have to try again, but the important point of the "Day" is to raise awareness off the dangers of smoking and the help that's available if you're trying to stop
