MPs Parachute For Charity
Defence Minister Kevan Jones and Colchester MP Bob Russell have taken part in a parachute jump from 13,000 feet, along with Army widow Victoria Bateman, to raise money for the airborne forces charity in memory of her husband - the jump took place on the first anniversary of the death of Lance Corporal James Bateman of 2 Para, who was killed alongside Private Jeff Doherty on Thursday 12 June 2008 in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, when their platoon was engaged by the Taliban in Helmand's Upper Gereshk Valley
