More Youngsters In Afghanistan Are Getting An Education Thanks To British Troops

With help from the forces Military Stabilisation and Support Team schools have been refurbished and supplies have been give. Two years ago the school in Musa Qaleh was under Taliban control and lay derelict and empty, now it's full of children again.


Service Leavers Eligible For Resettlement Can Now Complete All The Administration Needed Using JPA

The new system checks JPA every 24 hours for those entitled to start the resettlement process and informs them automatically.


Sixteen To Seventeen Year Olds Expecting To Join Up Can Expect To See Some Changes

At the moment junior entries can go to Winchester or Harrogate to take part in a course before joining the regular Army.

Bagging the 1st prize of 10 thousand pounds is Staff Sergeant Own from 30 Signal Regiment in Bramcoate. Signaller Davies from 7 Signal Regiment came second, winning 5 thousand. Corporal Edwards from 2 Royal Welsh in Tidworth won the third prize of 2 and a half grand.
