Two Brothers Who've Fought Side By Side In Afghanistan Are Keen To go Back To The Front Line

Lance Corporal Jimmy Leather and Lance Corporal Michael Leather, who are both from the 2nd Battalion Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, were recently serving together in Musa Qal'ah on the border with Sangin. They helped to uncover an IED factory during a fierce firefight.

The Families Of Members Of 13 Air Assault Support Regiment Are Being urged To Get Ready For The Approaching Deployment To Afghanistan


Unit Welfare Officers are encouraging those left behind to come in a chat with them and take part in briefings. They're also being warned to get their loved ones to set up a guest account on the Army Net Regimental website, which has just gone live, as it will be more difficult to do once they're in Camp Bastion.

Soldiers From 72 Engineer Regiment Are Taking Part In A Massive Challenge

They're currently running around their Brigade Boundaries, which amount to 23 marathons in 23 days. The runners are doing it to raise community spirit as well as funds for five charities.

A Group Of British And American Service Personnel Are Preparing To Take Part In A 3,530 Mile Run

They'll be pounding the pavements from one side of America to the other to raise funds for injured servicemen and women on both sides of the Atlantic.
