The MOD Has Named The Royal Military Policeman Who Was Shot Dead In Afghanistan

Lance Corporal Michael Pritchard from 4th Regiment Royal Military Police was killed as a result of small arms fire in the Sanguin area of central Helmand. The possibility he was killed by friendly fire is being investigated in Afghanistan, but no conclusions can be reached until the coroner's inquest.

New Patrol Bases Built By British Soldiers Are Putting Pressure On Insurgents In Afghanistan
