The MOD Has Confirmed A Soldier From 2nd Battalion The Duke Of Lancaster's Regiment And A Royal Military Policeman Have Been Killed In Afghanistan
Corporal Simon Hornby from 2nd Battalion The Duke of Lancaster Regiment died following an explosion whilst on foot patrol in the Nad-e-Ali district of Helmand Province on Saturday.
A Royal Military Policeman was killed as a result of small arms fire in the Sanguin area of central Helmand on Sunday. The family of both soldiers have been informed.
