The UK Spearhead Lead Element launches a deployment exercise
The 4 Rifles Battle Group has undertaken a last minute exercise to test their mobilisation procedures for their new role as the UK Spearhead Lead Element. The role, which they took up in October, means they are on 24-hour notice to deploy anywhere in the world if UK military assistance is required
The Army says that in some cases mediation may be a better option than formal action
The Army wants you to be aware of the mediation services that are available to you as a soldier, so you can consider using them if you ever suffer from conflict in your working environment
