5 Local children injured during a strike operation in Afghanistan

British forces in an Apache helicopter targeted an insurgent but children in a neighbouring field were injured. They are being treated at Camp Bastion and their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.


NATO pressure on Colonel Qadhafi's forces continues

UK troops take part in successful mission to destroy an Engineering Academy being used by security to repress local people in Tripoli.


The Royal Welsh Fusiliers mark their Freedom of the City in Bangor

They marched with drums and bayonets and the Regiment's goat Billy led the band at the front of the parade.



The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment take time off in Norfolk

It's a break for the troops and their horses as they enjoy some riding along the beach away from formal duties in London- such as The Royal Wedding.
