The achievements of  Engineers in Afghanistan are recognised

560 Soldiers from Woodbridge based 23 Engineer regiment including two squadrons from Tidworth's 22 Engineer Regiment have been presented with operational service medals.

The Armed Forces role in the Royal Wedding has been revealed

1st Battalion the Irish Guards and the Welsh Guards are among units who will perform ceremonial duties on the big day.

Defence Estates is formally replaced by the DIO

The new Defence Infrastructure Organisation takes over Defence Estates role.

Soldiers from the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps will be getting on their bike

They will be cycling 940 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats on the Royal British Legion's Battleback Challenge Ride in May.
