British Forces In Southern Afghanistan Have Handed Over Responsibility For Sercurity In Sangin

US forces are now taking charge. The transfer of authority, which was first announced by the Defence Secretary back in July, is the last move in the current rebalancing of ISAF forces across Helmand.

More Support For Troops On The Ground Has Arrived In Afghanistan

An extra Reaper remotely piloted aircraft has been added to the Royal Air Force's fleet.
