The soldiers from 3rd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland were killed as a result of an explosion whilst on foot patrol north of Lashkar Gah on Monday morning.

It happened after being damaged following a hard landing on Sunday 10 kilometres east of Sanguin.
