Two Helmand Hospitals Reopen In Projects Overseen By British Military Stabilisation Support Teams

( As well as the military campaign that's being carried out in Afghanistan, a great deal of work and effort is also going into rebuilding the country's infrastructure ..... As part of that, the MOD has just confirmed that 2 Helmand hospitals have reopened following refurbishment by Afghan contractors and engineers from the International Security Assistance Force )

British Forces In Iraq - Prepare To Withdraw From Theatre

( The Army has revealed to Garrison FM, that as we head closer to the Summer and the expected withdrawal of British Soldiers from Iraq, UK troops in the country have already started to move kit South, in preparation for the return from theatre )

Exhibition - "Helmand: Faces Of Conflict"

( An exhibition is about to open at the National War Museum (Scotland) in Edinburgh Castle, featuring photographs that were taken while soldiers from 52 Infantry Brigade were deployed to Afghanistan. "Helmand: Faces of Conflict" will run until Feb 2010 and features the photography of Robert Wilson )
