Absence Recovery Warrant Officers

The Army has revealed that it's started a new initiative to help with incidences of "absence without leave". It says it realizes that soldiers can go AWOL for a vast variety of reasons, so it's introduced the role of "Absence Recovery Warrant Officers" .... experienced, long serving Warrant Officers, who have been attached to each regional brigade and it's now their job to contact soldiers who are absent, find out why they're absent and assist them in returning to service
