The MOD Has Confirmed That Four British Soldiers Were Killed In Afghanistan On Thursday The 7th May

A Black Watch soldier died after being shot during a patrol with the Afghan National Army near Musah Qaleh. In a separate incident a soldier serving with 2nd Battalion The Rifles was killed in an explosion whilst travelling in a Jackal vehicle near Sanguin

Two further soldiers one serving with 1st Battalion The Gurkha Rifles, and another from 173 Provost Company, 3rd Regiment Royal Military Police were killed as a result of a suicide improvised explosive device
