Fusilier Pat Suesue of 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers was killed on Friday - He died as a result of a gunshot while on a foot patrol near Sangin in Helmand Province.
Sapper Jordan Rossi of 25 Field Squadron, 3-8 Engineer Regiment died following an explosion near Sangin in Helmand province. He was part of a Royal Engineers Search Team working in an operation to clear IEDs that were posing a lethal threat to both British forces and the local Afghan population

The Army is working towards a Government target to ensure all cars procured between 2007 and 2011 produce, on average, less than 130g per kilometre of CO2. The latest addition to the fleet are 50 Toyota Prius vehicles which switch automatically between petrol engine and electric motor depending on driving conditions

The Army Families Federation is asking you to comment on the amount of Disturbance allowance that's currently on offer to families moving from one families quarter to another and to list your actual expenses, so it can work out if the amount of allowance provided is sufficient to cover the actual costs incurred. The Army Issues A New No 2 Dress
The Army has revealed that it has begun to issue a new All Ranks Number 2 (Service) Dress. The new uniform will be worn by all ranks, with Infantry Regiments and ATRs being at the forefront of the issue process. Recruits are already starting to pass out of training in the new uniform

The Army Hails The Success Of It's New Online Recruiting Facility - Startthinkingsoldier
The 21st century approach uses TV style ads, on the website startthinkingsoldier, which gives participants a virtual Army experience and has achieved over 300,000 hits in just a few weeks
3-2 Regiment's UAVs - Return From Iraq And Afghanistan
The final group of soldiers from 3-2 Regiment Royal Artillery have returned to the Salisbury Plain after successful six-month deployments in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Whilst in theatre, the troops flew Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs) in support of operations in both countries

The Army Dependants' Trust is reminding you of its existence and that it's there to help you, should the worst possible scenario happen - It's a charity that provides discretionary cash grants to dependants, of soldiers who die in service, from whatever cause.

The rural Middle Eastern village and urban Middle Eastern complex has been officially opened at the Stanford Training Area and provides all troops deploying on operations with the most advanced and relevant training facilities in the UK
Swine Flu - Advice for Defence Personnel

The MOD has issued information for all MOD personnel following the Swine Flu outbreak, to raise awareness of the risks and the planning work which is underway. Cases of an influenza A Virus (H1N1) have been confirmed in a number of countries starting in Mexico .... And over 20 people in the UK are now known to have contracted the virus
